Version 1.0 | Effective July 17, 2026 | Controlling language: English
This Tax Documents and Reporting Notice explains how AFICH frames tax information, payout records, settlement statements, and payment-provider tax reporting.
AFICH does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice. You should consult your own professional adviser for your tax obligations.
Organizers are responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and paying all taxes that apply to their events, ticket sales, fees, refunds, payouts, income, business activity, permits, and registrations. This may include sales tax, VAT, GST, admissions tax, amusement tax, withholding, income tax, local taxes, and other charges depending on the event and jurisdiction.
AFICH may provide tools to show prices, fees, taxes, and settlement records, but organizers remain responsible for confirming that event tax settings, price disclosures, invoices, receipts, and event descriptions are accurate and legally sufficient.
Payment processing, connected-account onboarding, KYC, AML, identity verification, bank details, and certain tax information are handled through Stripe Connect. Stripe may request tax forms, taxpayer identification numbers, business information, ownership information, and other details. Failure to provide required information may delay, restrict, or block payouts.
Depending on law, provider rules, transaction volume, and account status, Stripe or another payment provider may issue tax forms such as IRS Form 1099-K or similar reports. Reported amounts may be gross amounts and may not reflect refunds, fees, reserves, chargebacks, adjustments, or taxable income. You are responsible for reconciling your records.
Settlement statements, payout exports, dashboards, order records, fee records, and tax-document links are operational records designed to help reconcile activity on AFICH. They are not a determination of taxability, taxable income, deductible expenses, tax residence, or tax classification.
Payout holds, reserves, refunds, chargebacks, negative balances, and offsets can affect the timing and amount of money you receive, but they do not by themselves decide your tax treatment. Keep independent records and review provider tax forms carefully.
