Version 1.0 | Effective July 17, 2026
These Payments & Stripe Connect Onboarding Terms ("Payment Terms") apply when you, as an event organizer, connect a payout account so you can accept payments and receive money for your events on AFICH. They are part of, and should be read together with, the AFICH Organizer Agreement and the AFICH Terms of Service. If there is a conflict on payout timing, holds, reserves, or organizer money obligations, the Organizer Agreement controls, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
AFICH is operated by AFICH LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (United States) ("AFICH," "we," "us").
What this means: This page explains the money side of being an organizer- how you get paid, who checks your identity, and what can pause your payouts.
AFICH provides event-ticketing and payment-facilitation technology. AFICH is not a bank, money transmitter, or money-services business, and does not hold your funds as a deposit or take custody of money as a financial institution.
What this means: You sell your own tickets. AFICH gives you the software; Stripe handles the actual card processing, identity checks, and money movement. AFICH is not your bank.
AFICH uses Stripe Connect to process payments and to pay organizers. Payments generally use a separate charges and transfers model: buyers are charged through Stripe, and organizer earnings are transferred to your connected Stripe account after AFICH applies the payout rules described in Section 8.
To accept payments and receive payouts on AFICH, you must create or connect a Stripe connected account and complete Stripe's onboarding.
What this means: Money from your ticket sales flows through Stripe. To get paid, you need a Stripe connected account linked to your AFICH organizer account.
When you create or connect a Stripe connected account through AFICH, you enter into a direct relationship with Stripe for payment processing. That relationship is governed by Stripe's own agreements, including:
By onboarding, you represent that you have read and agree to Stripe's applicable agreements. Those agreements- not these Payment Terms- govern your relationship with Stripe, including how Stripe verifies you, holds or reserves funds under its own rules, handles disputes at the processor level, and may restrict or close your Stripe account.
What this means: Stripe is a separate company with its own contract you agree to. That contract governs Stripe's part; AFICH's terms govern AFICH's part. Read Stripe's agreements- they are binding on you.
Reference: Stripe Connected Account Agreement and Stripe Services Agreement are published by Stripe. Links are provided during onboarding and in your organizer dashboard.
Identity verification and any required business, banking, and tax information for your connected account are collected and verified by Stripe as part of Stripe Connect onboarding.
What this means: Stripe- not AFICH- checks who you are and whether your business and banking details are valid. AFICH only sees the result (verified or not) and follows it.
Payment card collection is hosted by Stripe (for example, through Stripe-hosted checkout or Stripe payment fields). Full card numbers are entered into Stripe-controlled fields, not AFICH-controlled forms.
What this means: Your buyers' card numbers go straight to Stripe, never onto AFICH's servers. AFICH keeps records about the order and payout, not the card itself.
You agree that all information you provide for onboarding- through AFICH or directly to Stripe- is accurate, complete, and current, and you agree to keep it up to date.
What this means: Put in true, up-to-date information and keep it current. Wrong or stale details can stop your payouts and may breach these terms.
Payout timing and amounts are governed by the escrow, hold, and reserve terms in the Organizer Agreement, and by your account status, verification, refund and dispute exposure, and applicable law. These Payment Terms do not restate those terms; they cross-reference them so the two stay aligned.
At a high level, and as detailed in the Organizer Agreement:
What this means: Getting paid is not instant. Money is generally held until your event happens, minus holds and a reserve, and chargebacks come out of what you're owed. The exact timing and percentages live in the Organizer Agreement- read it.
Reference: See the Organizer Agreement sections on payouts, escrow/hold, and risk reserve, and Terms of Service §6.3 ("Payouts and Provider Verification").
You cannot receive payouts until Stripe has verified your connected account and it is approved to accept charges.
What this means: No verification, no payouts. Finish Stripe's onboarding before you rely on getting paid, or your money may sit on hold until you do.
Your account and your events are subject to sanctions and restricted-business screening.
What this means: You confirm you and your events are allowed to use the payment system and are not on a sanctions list or in a banned business type. Stripe screens for this, and AFICH can act too. Lying to get around it is a serious breach.
Under Stripe's own agreements, Stripe may independently limit, suspend, reserve funds on, restrict, or close your connected account, or decline to enable it, based on Stripe's verification, risk, sanctions, or policy decisions.
What this means: Stripe can restrict or close your account on its own, for its own reasons. If it does, AFICH may not be able to pay you or process your sales until you sort it out with Stripe.
Independently of Stripe, AFICH may delay, hold, offset, or suspend payouts, restrict organizer access, require corrective action, or take other platform enforcement steps under the Terms of Service and Organizer Agreement- for example, for fraud risk, disputes, sanctions concerns, refund failures, or legal obligations.
What this means: Stripe acting on your Stripe account and AFICH acting on your AFICH account are two separate things. Either can pause your payouts.
AFICH may update these Payment Terms. Material changes to organizer money obligations will be surfaced through AFICH's acceptance flow and versioned. Stripe may separately change its own agreements; those changes are governed by Stripe.
What this means: These terms can change; we'll flag material changes. Stripe's terms can also change on Stripe's side.
What this means: AFICH's terms cover the AFICH relationship; Stripe's terms cover the Stripe relationship. For payout questions ask AFICH; for Stripe-account questions ask Stripe.
By creating or connecting a Stripe connected account through AFICH, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Payment Terms, and that you have read and agree to Stripe's applicable Connected Account Agreement and Stripe Services Agreement.
What this means: Connecting your Stripe account means you accept both AFICH's payment terms and Stripe's own agreements.
