Version 1.0 | Effective July 17, 2026 | Controlling language: English
This Policy applies to marketing, promotional, event-operation, transactional, SMS, email, push, in-app, and campaign communications sent through or using AFICH data or tools.
Transactional and operational messages may include receipts, tickets, security notices, refund updates, cancellation notices, schedule changes, venue instructions, access instructions, and legal notices.
Marketing messages include promotions, newsletters, future-event announcements, affiliate promotions, sponsorship messages, audience reactivation, and similar commercial messages.
Marketing messages require a valid legal basis and must honor opt-outs and unsubscribe rules.
Organizers are responsible for ensuring that their campaigns comply with all applicable email, SMS, privacy, consumer-protection, telecom, and advertising laws. AFICH tools do not replace the organizer's duty to obtain consent, maintain records, and honor opt-outs.
Organizers may not upload or use purchased, scraped, rented, or unlawfully obtained contact lists.
Where law requires consent, organizers must obtain it before sending marketing. Each marketing email must include required sender information and a functioning unsubscribe mechanism. SMS marketing must only be sent where the sender has legally sufficient consent and must honor stop requests.
AFICH may enforce suppression lists, opt-in filters, one-click unsubscribe headers, bounce handling, rate limits, and abuse monitoring.
Campaigns must be truthful, not misleading, and consistent with the event listing, refund policy, price disclosures, age restrictions, capacity, venue rules, and Prohibited Events Policy. Organizers must not misrepresent sponsors, artists, venues, charities, ticket availability, pricing, benefits, or urgency.
AFICH may provide campaign tools, but does not guarantee delivery, inbox placement, open rates, click rates, sales, revenue, or availability of any messaging channel. Providers may throttle, block, filter, or reject messages.
AFICH may pause, review, reject, throttle, unschedule, or disable campaigns, restrict organizer messaging, preserve evidence, or suspend access when campaigns appear unlawful, deceptive, abusive, risky, or inconsistent with this Policy.
